Dear Friends,

What is the Scoop?
So first of all, let us introduce ourselves if we have not formally met. Our names are Jen and Nicole and we are the faces and the "talent" behind Jenuine Creations, LLC. Jen is known as "Mom" and Nicole is known as "Daughter!" As it says on our website, we are a Mother and Daughter Photography team based out of Clarksville, MI serving clients throughout Michigan and beyond. We specialize in Wedding, Portrait and Event Photography, capturing everything above and between. Whether you became engaged, had a baby, acquired a new pet, or even celebrated your 50th Wedding Anniversary, we would love to get to know you and document these special moments in your life.

These emails will come on a monthly basis (1st of every month) and will always contain a What is the Scoop paragraph or two explaining what we are up to, an Image of the Month (with a story involved), a Special of the Month, and a Quote of the Month. So if you have a few minutes, please take some time to read our thoughts and feelings =D We hope to build a personal and professional relationship with you in the coming months and years. Image of the Month: "My Protector"

The story behind this image is beautiful. This was taken at a July 2010 Wedding, to which we were beyond delighted to capture. The little boy and the little girl are brother and sister, the little girl was the flower girl in the Wedding. We could not help but smile at the love and kindness the older brother (aka: the Protector) was showing to his little sister as he carefully handed her the toy. He truly loved his sister and kept a constant eye on her to make sure she was out of harms way.

In reflection, how can we take the simple gesture shown in this photograph and practice it in our own lives? It would be simple to say, "just be kind!" However, it seems as if there is much more to relationships than meets the eye. Just being kind and caring is never enough. To have lasting, quality relationships, you have to work at them and work at them every day! So, who can you "Protect" today? Not necessarily save an individual from bodily harm, but care for them in a genuine older brother to little sister sort of way? Our guess is that there are many people you know of that could benefit from a little TLC. Just something to ponder.
